SIG Objectives:

  • Promote patient-oriented research that specifically targets improving the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and management of children with Lennox Gastaut Syndrome
  • Improve seizure, cognitive, behavioral and functional outcomes for children with LGS through collaborative research.


Current Projects and Collaborations:

  • Tonic seizures as a biomarker for LGS
  • Developing an LGS functional outcome measure to track therapeutic response


Plans for Future Projects:

  • Expansion of biomarker development to multisite studies
